If you charge a client PKR 100,000 for a project and your costs (time, tools, overhead) are PKR 60,000, your gross margin is 40%. Use the calculator to test whether a lower quote still achieves your target margin.
Gross margin = (revenue - COGS) / revenue × 100. Net margin = net profit / revenue × 100. Markup = (revenue - cost) / cost × 100. The calculator applies these standard formulas to the entered values.
Calculations are performed in the browser. No business data is submitted to a server.
This calculator uses basic margin and markup formulas. It does not account for accounting adjustments, depreciation, financing costs, or tax effects. For formal financial reporting, consult an accountant.
