These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of DevTool House ("Service"), operated by Wali Ullah at devtoolhouse.com.

By accessing or using the Service, you ("User") agree to be bound by these Terms.

Definitions:

• "Service": The DevTool House website, all tools, DevSavr, APIs, and related features available at devtoolhouse.com.
• "User": Any person or entity accessing or using the Service.
• "Content": Text, data, files, code, reviews, or any material submitted by Users or provided by the Service.

DevTool House provides free, online tools for developers, freelancers, and businesses, including but not limited to: developer utilities (JSON formatter, JWT decoder, regex tester), web & API tools, business and financial calculators, Pakistan-specific calculators, productivity tools, and DevSavr (ephemeral file and text sharing).

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty of any kind. No login or account registration is required to use the tools.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Abuse or circumvent rate limits (100 requests/15 minutes general; 20 requests/1 minute for heavy tools).
• Attempt to exploit, attack, probe, or perform security testing against the Service or its infrastructure without written permission.
• Use any tool for illegal, fraudulent, or harmful purposes.
• Submit malicious, offensive, or harmful content through any form or tool input.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract proprietary code from the backend.
• Scrape or bulk-request the API in a manner that degrades service for other users.
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

Violation of this section may result in immediate, permanent blocking of your IP address without notice.

The Service, including its design, user interface, branding, tool logic, and all associated intellectual property, is owned by DevTool House and protected by applicable copyright laws.

Your inputs remain yours. Any content you enter into the tools (code, text, data) remains your property. We do not claim any ownership over your inputs or the outputs generated from them.

Tool outputs are not claimed by DevTool House. You are free to use outputs for any lawful purpose.

By submitting a review, suggestion, or contact form message, you grant DevTool House a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display and use that content in connection with the Service (e.g., displaying your review on the Reviews page).

You represent that your submission is truthful, original, and does not infringe any third-party rights. We reserve the right to moderate, edit, or remove any user-generated content that violates these Terms or our community standards, without notice.

DevSavr provides ephemeral, temporary file and text sharing via time-limited rooms. When using DevSavr, you agree that:

• You are solely responsible for the content you share in rooms.
• We do not guarantee delivery, persistence, or availability of room content. Rooms auto-expire after 15–60 minutes.
• You will not use DevSavr to share illegal, harmful, malicious, or copyright-infringing content.
• We reserve the right to immediately terminate rooms containing content that violates these Terms.

To ensure fair and reliable access for all users, the Service enforces rate limits:

• General endpoints: 100 requests per 15 minutes per IP.
• Heavy processing tools (e.g., Resume Analyzer, Code Beautifier): 20 requests per 1 minute per IP.

Systematic or automated abuse of the API beyond these limits may result in temporary or permanent IP blocking. If you have a legitimate high-volume use case, please contact us.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We make no guarantee of accuracy for financial, tax, or business calculators (including income tax, electricity bill, freelance rate, profit margin, or currency conversion tools). These tools are for estimation purposes only and do not constitute financial, legal, or tax advice. Always consult a qualified professional.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, DEVTOOL HOUSE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, INCORRECT CALCULATIONS, SERVICE DOWNTIME, OR DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Certain tools (API Request Tester, IP Address Lookup, DNS Lookup, Currency Converter) interact with external third-party services. DevTool House is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, availability, or accuracy of any third-party service. External links are provided for convenience only and do not constitute an endorsement.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any tool, feature, or the entire Service at any time without notice. We may update these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date and post a note in our Changelog.

We reserve the right to block or restrict access to the Service for any User who violates these Terms, engages in abusive behaviour, or poses a security risk to the platform or other users. Such action may be taken without prior notice via rate limiting or IP blocking.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pakistan.
