Welcome to DevTool House. DevTool House is a free, no-login platform offering online tools for developers, freelancers, and businesses, including DevSavr temporary file and text sharing.

This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you use devtoolhouse.com, how it is used and shared, how cookies and similar technologies may be used, and the choices available to you. This policy applies to our website, tools, and related services.

DevTool House does not require account registration or login. Depending on how you use the service, we may process:

• Usage and device information: Pages and tools used, interaction events, referring pages, timestamps, browser and device information, approximate location derived from an IP address, and cookie or similar identifiers when analytics or advertising services are enabled.
• IP addresses and operational logs:Our servers and infrastructure providers receive IP addresses and request information for security, diagnostics, rate-limiting, and abuse prevention. A DevSavr room also keeps its creator's IP address until that room is deleted.
• Form submissions: Information you voluntarily provide through Contact, Suggest a Tool, or Write a Review forms, such as your name, email address, role, and message or review content.
• Tool inputs: Text, code, URLs, files, or other data you submit for a tool to process. Ordinary tool inputs are not retained after processing unless a feature explicitly requires temporary storage, as DevSavr does.

We use information to:

• Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the platform and its tools.
• Enforce rate limits and prevent fraud, abuse, and harmful activity.
• Understand aggregate traffic and feature usage.
• Respond to messages, suggestions, and privacy requests.
• Publish reviews that users submit for public display.
• Serve, limit, personalize where permitted, and measure advertising when advertising is enabled.

We do not sell the contents of your tool inputs, DevSavr rooms, or contact submissions. We share information with service providers and advertising partners only for the purposes described in this policy or when required by law.

Ordinary tool inputs such as JSON, code, text, and URLs are processed to return the requested result and are not intentionally retained after that processing is complete.

DevSavr rooms temporarily store shared text and uploaded files for the selected room duration, from 5 to 60 minutes. The room and its contents are deleted when it expires or is manually destroyed.

Form submissions are retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, manage suggestions, publish reviews, meet legal obligations, or resolve disputes. Security and diagnostic logs may be retained for limited periods according to operational and hosting requirements.

Google and other service providers determine their own retention periods for information they process. Their privacy notices provide further details.

DevTool House and its service providers may use the following browser technologies:

• Functional storage: Local or session storage may remember your theme, dismissed banners, DevSavr device name, and selected tool preferences.
• Analytics technologies: Tags managed through Google Tag Manager may use cookies, local storage, or similar identifiers to measure visits and interactions, depending on the tags configured and your consent choices.
• Advertising technologies: When advertising is enabled, Google and third-party advertising partners may place and read cookies on your browser or use web beacons, IP addresses, and other identifiers as a result of serving ads on this website.

Advertising and analytics technologies may be restricted until consent is obtained where applicable law requires it. Blocking cookies may affect preferences or some site functionality.

Google AdSense

DevTool House may use Google AdSense to display advertising and support the free service. Advertising may not appear on every page or while approval and setup are in progress. When Google-served ads are enabled:

• Google and other third-party vendors may place and read cookies on your browser or use web beacons, IP addresses, and other identifiers to collect information because ads are being served on the website.
• Your browser may automatically provide Google with information such as the page URL, IP address, browser or device information, language, and the date and time of a request.
• Google and its partners may use this information to deliver ads, control ad frequency, measure performance, prevent fraud and abuse, and personalize ads where permitted by law and your choices.
• If ad personalization is unavailable or declined, ads may still be selected using the current page, general location, or other non-personalized signals. Cookies or similar technologies may still be used for measurement, frequency capping, and fraud prevention.

Analytics and Tag Management

We use Google Tag Manager to manage measurement tags and events. Configured tags may process page views, tool-use events, approximate location, device or browser information, and identifiers for measurement. We do not intentionally include the contents of tool inputs or DevSavr rooms in analytics events.

We rely on service providers for advertising and analytics, infrastructure, email delivery, databases, and selected tool features. They may process information on our behalf under their own terms and privacy notices.

• Google services: Google Tag Manager and, when enabled, Google AdSense and related advertising technology providers.
• IP Address Lookup: Sends the IP address you request to an external geolocation provider.
• Currency Converter and DNS Lookup: Request current exchange-rate or public DNS data from external providers.
• API Request Tester: Forwards the HTTP request you configure to the destination URL you specify.

These providers may process information in countries other than your own. Their handling of information is governed by their privacy policies and applicable data-transfer safeguards.

• Consent choices: Where required, a consent message will let you accept, reject, or manage advertising and analytics purposes. Before serving personalized ads in the EEA, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we will use a Google-certified consent management platform integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework.
• Google ad personalization: Visit My Ad Center to control personalized ads associated with Google.
• Browser controls: You can block or delete cookies and clear local storage through your browser. Private browsing alone does not necessarily prevent sites or service providers from receiving information.
• Data rights: Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing, or withdraw consent. Use our contact page to submit a request. We may need to verify the request before acting on it.

DevSavr is our temporary file and text sharing tool:

• No login or account is required to create or join a room.
• Room contents are stored for the selected 5–60 minute duration and deleted when the room expires or is manually destroyed.
• The creator's IP address is retained with the room for abuse prevention and deleted with the room.
• Room codes are not publicly listed, but anyone with a valid code can access the room while it remains active.
• Transfers use HTTPS but are not end-to-end encrypted. Do not share credentials, private keys, or other highly sensitive information.

We use reasonable technical and operational safeguards, including:

• HTTPS encryption for data in transit.
• Rate limiting and abuse-prevention controls.
• Input validation and sanitization on API endpoints.
• Content Security Policy and other security headers.
• Access controls for administrative features and stored submissions.

No transmission or storage system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you should avoid submitting information that is unnecessary for the tool you are using.

DevTool House is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 or use interest-based advertising to target children. If you believe a child has submitted personal data to us, please contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

We may update this Privacy Policy as our services, advertising setup, or legal obligations change. We will update the "Last updated" date and may note material changes in our Changelog.
